We have had some people ask how they can promote the event.  Consider doing any or all of the following!
-Send everyone you know the link to this blog www.prayingbellahome.blogspot.com
-Post the link to this blog on your FB page.  You do this by simply cutting and pasting the blog url into your status line.
-The event 'praying bella home' on FB is a public event.  Anyone can invite people, anyone can join!
-Join the event 'praying bella home' on FB
-Share the event 'praying bella home' on FB.  You can do this by clicking the 'wheel' in the right hand corner of the page, and selecting the share options.
-Invite friends to the event through the FB event page 'praying bella home' on FB.  You can do this by clicking the 'invite' icon in the right hand corner of the page.
-Phone friends and family and ask them to save the date!
-If you have friends who blog, ask them to promote our blog! 
-As soon as tickets are available (most likely next week)....sell tickets!!!

How you can help

If you're wondering how you can help here some suggestions:

1. Pray.  God moves mountains through prayer.  Pray that the process goes smoothly and immediately that the consent is released from the Mayor's office in time for the October 31st deadline.
2. Spread the word.  Email friends, put a link on Facebook, tweet the event
3. Buy a ticket.  They are $10 in advance or $15 at the door and include coffee/tea, dessert and an evening of entertainment
4. Come to the event with money to bid on items.  This is a great place to find Christmas presents!!!!
5. Donate an item to include in the auction.  An item you have, an item or service your business provides, anything of value (if you would prefer to just donate directly to the fund, email here).  The sooner you donate for the auction - the sooner we can advertise on this blog for you!  Let us know what you can contribute here or leave a comment here.
6. Spread the word.  See point #2.  The more people who come out, the more we can help the McBrides.

Praying Bella Home Silent Auction

This is the McBride family.  They are godly and wonderful and in the process of adopting their sweet daughter Bella from Haiti. Bella is waiting in Port-au-Prince, Haiti as paperwork is processed to complete the adoption.  This process has taken longer than anticipated and they still likely have several more family visits to Haiti before they will bring her home for good.

Join us as we help them pray Bella home with an evening of desserts, entertainment and silent auction to raise funds for their adoption journey.
